Visit.org is looking for an intelligent, ambitious product management professional to join our team in New York City. Visit.org is a platform that helps companies easily integrate social responsibility into their culture through unique team events powered by local nonprofits. This is an opportunity for someone who knows the fundamentals of product management and wants to contribute their skills to making a positive impact in NYC and around the world. Working directly with management to develop this product, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the company’s direction and future.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full product life-cycle, from research and design through development and release
  • Act as product expert/champion when engaging with other business areas
  • Own aligning our business strategy and metrics with our product development efforts and
  • lead product development team from design through successful rollout
  • Leverage data and collaborate with clients as well as engineering, sales, and marketing team to synthesize feedback, define product direction, and create go-to-market strategies
  • Measure the success of features after release and optimize their performance through rapid, data-driven and customer informed iteration
  • Pitch in with anything and everything related to building new products

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a product role, preferably in a B2B SaaS tech company
  • Experience using data to drive decision making
  • Experience crafting product requirements and specifications
  • Understanding of UI/UX design concepts and principle
  • Ability to talk tech and understand databases
  • Desire to grow and be part of a team
  • Strong product sense and deep understanding of what makes products effective
  • Ability to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member
  • Self-motivated and willing to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
